  • To find inner peace
  • To start enjoying life

  • To move through transition

  • To find meaning and purpose
  • To define priorities
  • To reach personal goals
  • To obtain information and resources
  • To improve relationships
  • To practice healthy relationships
  • To improve communication skills
  • To practice communications skills
  • To sleep better
  • To eat better
  • To manage time better
  • To manage responsibilities better
  • To know satisfaction

  • To navigate aging
  • To figure out who they are

The list is long. The reasons are varied. And success is possible. What's more, positive changes can arise that were never intended or expected. Yes, counselling can help! It can help people healthily navigate the pressing chaos and fear to live strong and long.

Our healthy planet needs our healthy selves.

MY APPROACH

I approach each session from a feminist counselling perspective, ensuring gender equality and women's empowerment. Furthermore, deeply rooted in somatic therapy, I offer body-based trauma therapy to heal frayed nervous systems. Body-based trauma therapy for body-based trauma (see "About Me" - A Bit About (Climate) Trauma).

Gentle, informative, and effective, body-based therapy is grounded in research, neuroscience (brain circuits, brain pathways, nervous systems), the mind-body connection, and dialogue. Accordingly, it furnishes lifelong results. What's more, I am trained and experienced in additional evidence-based therapy methods, including these:

OUR COLLABORATION

Then, too, there is teamwork. Together, you and I work as a team, developing a healthy relationship and work toward the goals you choose. Yes, the goals you choose. You might, for example, decide to discuss concerns or explore symptoms or heal wounds or address a specific situation. Together, we review your goals; determine the type and extent of your counselling; engage in counselling,; and evaluate your progress.

All of this in a safe place and with an open heart. No judgment. No shame. Unconditional respect. And absolute confidentiality.
