LET'S TALK ABOUT THis crazy world!

Are you stressed out by  ...

  • CLIMATE CHANGE?
  • ECOLOGICAL DAMAGE?
  • WORLD UPHEAVAL?
  • GLOBAL UNCERTAINTY?
  • PERSONAL FEARS AND FEELINGS?

It's Trauma - all of it. "Too much too soon too fast too long." And you're not alone! Connecting with like-minded people can help.

TRAUMA  THERAPIST-  ADDICTIONS SPECIALIST - ECOLOGIST

Trained and experienced, I provide the healthy connection and appropriate counselling important in these trying times. And make no mistake - these are trying times! As a result, I'm offering a place for kindred spirits to share, care, support, connect, and learn. Come to where you're understood. Come be part of a like-minded group!

THREE GROUPS

I love these groups! And I love leading these groups! More affordable than individual therapy, support groups can be just as effective as one-on-one counselling. Plus they're a whole lot of fun!

For these reasons, I'm facilitating three different groups with three different purposes. Which do you prefer?

1.  CLIMATE CAFES

Heartwarming, Nourishing. Inspiring.

Periodic informal drop-in groups for climate-concerned persons, offering a space to reflect without judgement. No counselling or therapy, just a welcoming space where I lead participants in thoughtful sharing about climate change and related issues. Come when you can! In-person and online (FREE).

,.. See "What is a Climate Cafe?"

2.  "TURBULENT TIMES" SUPPORT GROUP

Nurturing, Helpful. Fun!

A many-week support group helping concerned folks cope with the trauma of climate change and associated stressors. Amid confidentiality and mutual support, you will share experiences, feelings, and thoughts. You will receive and give feedback and discover connection. I facilitate this group, providing counselling support, trauma knowledge, coping skills, and useful handouts.

3.  "MANAGING STRESS IN A SCARY WORLD" EDUCATIONAL GROUP

Informative, Meaningful. Useful.

A formal few-week educational group for persons stressed out about our tumultuous world. You will learn the basics of stress and trauma - what they are and what they do - plus effective methods to calm your body and quiet your mind. And, too, you will find yourself connecting with other people who "get it." It's a practical group with healthy living and wellbeing in mind.
